At The Next Forty, we work with entrepreneurs whose businesses are already in motion and who need to prepare their structure for the next stage of growth.
We do this through operational mentorship, short courses, and practical tools, always under The Next Forty methodology.
It is recognizing when the way the business works today is no longer enough to sustain what comes next.
The Next Forty grew from years of working alongside women entrepreneurs. The methodology connects business, entrepreneurship, social transformation, and education because growing a business is not only about knowing what to do. It also requires developing the capacity to make decisions, set boundaries, delegate, lead, and sustain what comes next.
“Before we started, my only focus was simply how to hire someone, but working with you helped me explore and understand everything that having an employee really involves, from processes to the overall management of the business.
I went from simply wanting to hire someone to seeing the full picture of the processes needed to take that step successfully. I created a quarterly plan that allows me to make decisions with clarity instead of at random.
You helped me see areas I had not considered, allowing me to explore the growth of my business with greater confidence and control.”
“Before, I did not fully value my time and felt that I had to do all the cleaning myself. Then I understood that my service is worth just as much as any other trade.
I learned to define what each service includes, organize my routes more effectively, and communicate my prices with confidence. Now I manage my time better, work with greater organization, and protect the profitability of my business without sacrificing quality.
I share cleaning manuals that provide clearer direction to the people who step in for me in a work area.”
“I want to talk about the impact The Next Forty has had on my life.
Tania taught me that your personal life and your self-care have to go hand in hand with your business for this to work and continue growing. If you are not doing well, how do you expect your business to be doing well?
I owe a large part of the growth I have had in my business to this. She helped me focus, get organized, and lose my fear of impostor syndrome.
If you are thinking about working with her, trust that you are in the right place: she does not focus only on the business; she focuses on you and, eventually, on your business.”
“The biggest change was moving from reacting to everything to making decisions with intention. I learned to look at my numbers, my time, and my capacity before saying yes to more work.”

I am available for talks, workshops, and conversations designed around the real challenges women face while growing a business: leadership, growth, money, hiring, structure, decision-making, and what it means to sustain a business while the person leading it is changing too.
Sessions can be in English or Spanish and adapted to the context and needs of each organization.

Hi, I’m Tania Figueroa, founder of The Next Forty, a space for conscious leadership and business growth for business owners. For more than twenty years, I have worked at the intersection of business, entrepreneurship, social transformation, and education.
For much of that time, I have worked alongside women , many of them Latina and immigrant entrepreneurs , during moments when their businesses, their work, and the way they lead are changing at the same time.
The Next Forty grew from that journey and, especially, from my work in organizations dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs, such as Prospera. There I worked directly with Latina immigrant entrepreneurs, coordinating programs and supporting businesses at different stages of growth.
Today I bring that experience to The Next Forty to work directly with business owners who are already growing and need to build the structure and capacity to sustain what comes next.
It may require a 12-week process. Or one concrete tool for the moment you are in today.
